As a seasoned communications leader with nearly a decade of experience, Alyson has successfully managed integrated communication campaigns, specializing in DE&I strategy, narrative branding, and 360 communications strategy. Her experience spans a variety of industries including finance, nonprofit, agency and consulting, providing her with a well-rounded perspective on communications challenges and creative solutions.
Throughout her career, Alyson has demonstrated a commitment to inclusivity and equity. She excels at developing and maintaining partnerships, approaching challenges with a logical mindset, and taking the initiatives to identify and address needs.
Rae Lynn Humphreys, Co-Owner

Rae Lynn (they/them) is a communications and fund development strategist with over 16 years of experience in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. Known for their precision, strategic insight, and commitment to equity, Rae Lynn develops impactful, data-driven narratives and long-term strategies that honor the communities they serve.
With expertise in integrated communications, creative campaigns, and audience engagement, Rae Lynn brings a bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish that uniquely supports outreach to diverse communities, including the Latine community. Lani is a post-production artist and multidisciplinary designer based in the Metro Detroit area. Her specialty lies in motion graphics, video editing, and graphic design, but she also enjoys working with sculpture, illustration, creative writing, and other mediums—as her passion for creative exploration constantly draws her to new forms of storytelling.
With a BFA in Entertainment Arts from College for Creative Studies, Lani’s concentration in digital film studies often blended video and spatial design, which launched her post-production career through experiential marketing. From there, she expanded her skillset and refined her focus on expressing a brand’s authenticity through thoughtful and compelling design that values human curiosity and connection.
No matter the discipline, her excitement for art stems from the experimental process of creation and the quiet details that hold each piece together.

Emma is a multidisciplinary designer and creative strategist based out of Grand Rapids, MI. With a strong foundation in graphic design, art consulting, and coordination, she brings a holistic human-centered approach to her designs. Her experience spans branding, curation, and experiential design, with a keen eye for storytelling through analogue mediums.
She values designs that seek to communicate with ingenuity, empathy, and transparency. In addition to Graphic Design, she is drawn towards a variety of media, particularly ceramics, collage, and printmaking. In her freetime you can usually find her throwing pottery at Sweda Studio, catching up with a friend at a cafe, baking something, or hanging out with her kitties, Roo and Bug.

With 19 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Roxanne Kiesling brings a wealth of knowledge from her work with healthcare and education organizations. She has developed and led impactful programs, gaining a deep understanding of the unique challenges and rewards of mission-driven work.
Roxanne specializes in grants related to Healthcare, Education, Arts, and Integrated Therapies, with strong experience in applications and reports for state grants and federal grants. She is skilled in working with platforms like Egrants and managing document uploads efficiently.

Candace Lopez is a non-profit professional with 20 years of experience in Fundraising and Development. She is a Development Generalist specializing in development operations, individual giving programs, and coaching. Her consultant business, Small Seeds Consulting, focuses on small and growing development programs and programs in transition.
Candace’s fundraising portfolio spans geographic locations, including Austin and San Antonio, TX, Los Angeles, Oakland, and San Francisco. She also worked with a diverse range of organizations and missions including civil liberties, the arts, higher education, domestic violence, gender equity, and queer philanthropy.
Most recently, Candace co-founded Femmepire HQ, LLC, a membership-based networking organization for professional queer femmes in their 30s, 40s, and beyond.
Candace is originally from Texas and will always claim to be a Texan. Her family later moved to Idaho where they all still reside. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a minor in Spanish from Pepperdine University and a Master of Arts degree in Latin American Studies with a certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies from The University of Texas at Austin. She resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her beautiful yet weirdo rescue pup, Sugar Baybee.

Dani is a public relations and content creation professional based in Seattle, WA. Her career began as a New Business Coordinator and evolved into roles focused on design and, more recently, content creation. At the heart of her work is a passion for storytelling through photography, videography, and social media strategy.
She earned a BA in Public Relations and Strategic Communications from Purdue University in 2020. Originally from Indiana, Dani was raised by parents who loved to travel and nurtured her creativity—especially in photography, drawing, writing, and hands-on projects.
Today, she channels those creative roots into building a platform for women solo travelers. Through curated travel guides, sightseeing tips, editing advice, and content creation insights, she empowers others to explore and grow. Dani has collaborated with brands including Amazon, Adobe, Hotel Sages, Andrea Iyamah, Thompson Hotel, and more.

David Sparks is a Grand Rapids-based commercial photographer with over 12 years of experience, specializing in architectural and interiors photography. Since 2013, he has built a reputation for capturing timeless, high-quality images that bring spaces to life, all while maintaining an authentic and focused approach to his craft.
David’s journey into photography began on a farm in southwest Michigan, where he grew up surrounded by the land and its rich history. After earning his Film Studies degree from the University of Michigan in 2011, he worked in Grand Rapids typing closed captions for TV programs. It was during these monotonous office days that David stumbled upon an opportunity to capture 360-degree imagery for Google’s Business View program. This sparked his transition into commercial photography, and he’s never looked back.
While David has honed his expertise in photographing interiors, exteriors, and architecture, he enjoys branching out into other types of photography as well, from people to product shoots. His work aligns perfectly with the values of Más Marketing + Co., where collaboration, authenticity, and attention to detail are key. David is excited to bring his experience and creative vision to the Colectiva, helping clients tell their stories through striking, professional imagery that complements the powerful work of the team.

Sara Proaño-Motta

Sara Elisa Proaño-Motta is a seasoned interpreter, translator, and community engagement leader whose work reflects a deep commitment to equity, access, and collective wellbeing. Originally from Ecuador, she brings a bicultural, bilingual lens to every project, shaped by years of experience working directly with immigrant and marginalized communities in West Michigan.
In her current role as Community Engagement Manager at Kent District Library, Sara designs and leads initiatives that remove barriers and expand access to vital services—particularly for individuals and families navigating poverty, trauma, disability, and systemic exclusion. Her approach centers dignity, cultural responsiveness, and practical impact—values that resonate strongly with Más’s mission.
Sara’s background in clinical psychology (Psy.D., Universidad Cristiana Latinoamericana) further informs her trauma-aware and community-rooted perspective. Whether developing partnerships, delivering interpretation, or creating inclusive outreach strategies, she builds bridges that foster trust, healing, and belonging. Her work embodies the spirit of La Colectiva—collaborative, justice-driven, and grounded in the power of language and story.
